Advisory committee volunteers serve on the various local committees and boards that are necessary to the operation of Mosaic. Advisory committee volunteers, although they have a unique role, are not reimbursed for their time. Actual expenses incurred as part of their volunteer service will be reimbursed. Additional training and orientation are encouraged but optional based upon the discretion of the staff member recruiting the advisory committee member.
Responsibilities may include: provide advice to agency directors and national staff, provide professional services, research ad recruit additional professional volunteers, represent Mosaic to outside audiences, legislative and government advocacy, other suitable tasks as needed.
Expectations include: friendly attitude, effective communication skills, professional expertise or experience in area of service, ability to keep confidential information private, and ability to work as a team member, ability to interpret gove
