Would you like to bring joy into the life of a child? If you have a smiling and friendly face, and like to work with children, you might be the perfect candidate for helping in Pediatrics. Shifts are usually 3 hours long once weekly. Your assignment will be to work with the Child Life Specialist on the pediatric floor and play an important role with the children who are hospitalized at Memorial.
At Memorial we want to make each patient experience exceptional, so the ability to interact with patients in a smiling and friendly manner is a must for this position.
To begin the volunteering process at Memorial Hospital of South Bend, you will need to attend two Orientation Sessions. The next available Orientations are: Session I Orientation scheduled August 30 from 12 – 2 OR 6-8 pm in the Hospital Auditorium. Session II is scheduled for September 1 from 12:30 – 2:30 OR 6-8 pm in the Hospital Auditorium.
