Kids, parents learn some origami at library summer program.

By MAY LEE JOHNSON
Tribune Staff Writer

SOUTH BEND — Ten-year-old Kelli Garcia proudly held up her newest creation.

“I already made a rabbit, cat, penguin and now I’m making a horse,” Kelli said. “We heard they were having an origami class. I came because I thought it would be fun to make animals and things out of paper.”

Kelli was one of the children who visited the Western Branch of the St. Joseph County Public Library to spend a recent afternoon making origami animals.
